    Fabulous

Friendly staff. Tranquile: quite room, quite atmosphere

Restaurant services: not all the food offered in the menu is available. I ordered salmon, but then I was called from the restaurant to change what I had ordered.

    Fabulous

Very nice hotel. The room was lovley and included french windows which opened onto a terrece. Special mention however for the staff who are warm, friendly and very helpful. Would stay again and would recommend to a friend.

  • 6.2
    Good

Rooms were clean tidy but have had to make a complaint unfortunately

Check out too early and check in too late, breakfast finishes early

  • 7.8
    Fabulous

Staff very friendly, the breakfast was very good apart from the sausages which tasted very strange. A very convenient location for Bath city and also to other interests around the area.

Did not like the sausages at breakfast.

    friedly staff, nice breakfast room,

    hair drayer does not work

  • 8.2
    Fabulous

Staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. Location is good, about 5-10 mins walk from Bath centre, up a steep hill, so bear this in mind!

Check in wasn't available until 3 pm as the hotel was very busy, but this wasn't a major issue.

    Fabulous

The ambassador suite was superb - clean, quiet and very well presented

The smell of the old carpets as you walk through the extensive walkway to the main reception. English breakfast could be slightly better.

  • 6.6
    Good

Very comfortable bed (didn't want to get up!), lovely breakfast and the hotel let me check out 90mins late with no charge.

A very creaky floor, was concerned the guests below me might complain. The bath was a sort of tea stained colour and I seemed to be the only guest under 50, didn't really matter as it was a business trip but didn't really seem for younger guests. Also the lift really needs updating, thought it was going to break down. Very reasonable for the price, breakfast included.

    Good

Really enjoyed Bath plenty to see and do.

Hotel very nice but the walk but up hill very tiring.

  • 7.8
    Fabulous

We enjoyed our stay with you..The hotel was clean and comfortable, the food was good and the location was convenient for the bus into Bath although the hill may be a bit off putting for some, but the bus was always there. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would come again.

    Very good

Vising the interests of Bath and the surrounding area, all very enjoyable, a beautiful part of the country with some lovely parks including Victoria park and Prior park.

    It was a quiet location.

The shower did not produce hot water(so I had to move rooms!) The telephone did not work(another reason I had to move to a different room) The under floor heating in the bathroom was on and could not be switched off as the dial was broke(a staff member had to come to the room with a screwdriver to turn it off by taking the outside panel off) We waited quite a while to be checked in when we arrived(there was no bell to ring to alert staff that we were there) The price was not good value for money when taking all these things into account.

Bed was comfortable, room was tidy, and bathroom was clean.

The hotel was inaccessible. It was advertised online that this hotel was close to the city centre and some of the major attractions. When actually the hotel was located on top of a massive hill which was difficult to walk (especially with luggage). To make matters worse there are no buses that go to the hotel past 7:30 pm. I had to pay for a taxi 3 times. Extremely overpriced considering there were hotel in the heart of the city right beside all the attractions that cost just as much.

  • 8.8
    Superb

The hotel staff was exceptional in their services & we really enjoyed our stay.

It is not that I didn't like but the hotel is really big & to go from reception to your room it's really far.

  • 8.8
    Superb

The bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and fresh

Long walk to room but it is a large hotel!
