I had a delightful stay at Lansdown Grove. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The hotel had a charming vintage vibe with a lovely library and well-stocked lounge bar. My room was spacious, clean, and the underfloor heating was a nice touch. the hotel sits at the top of a steep hill, so getting to the city center with heavy bags was a challenge. The parking situation could also use some better explanation before arrival. it wasn't clear how full the lots could be. I enjoyed the breakfast selection, but the cooked items were a bit lacking in quality. I also noticed some noise from plumbing during my stay, which wasn't ideal. Despite these hiccups, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and easy access to the bus service for getting around Bath.

Such a charming place! The location’s perfect for a stroll, and the room felt positively opulent with its space and cleanliness—absolutely divine!
But do watch out for those steep hills. I nearly needed a rescue team. that lift situation was just so last century!

Couple looking for charm
We stayed for a night and got lucky with a lovely view from our room, it was perfect to wake up to. The staff were super friendly, even giving us a complimentary coffee when we checked out, which was a nice touch.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for the experience.
